Healing has taken great priority in our society now that we have learned to address ancestral wounds & trauma bonds. It requires a great deal of energy to clear what has happened to us on a cellular level. There are so many tools to incorporate that you could spend your whole life focused on reaching the next level of evolution in your healing. It is so much fun to learn & dive into different modalities… But are we distracting ourselves from the main intention by getting too caught up in the modalities themselves?
My best friend said something that has stuck with me all week. She said, “what if we stopped telling ourselves something was wrong with us & we just lived”? Wow. What a concept… That I’m not broken, or too scattered to attain my dream life, or too emotional to be stable, or too indulgent to regulate my sugar cravings. I am perfect the way I am & I can still simultaneously enjoy my life while leveling up. Because life doesn’t have to be constant work. We deserve to rest, relax, play & just be. There is not always something to fix.
The simplicity of this practice is extremely calming & healing to the mind, body & soul. It is good for your whole being. When we talk about manifesting, the first steps are to get clear on your intentions & visualize. This is the first step to the path of healing ourselves as well. How can we expect to heal on a mental, physical & cellular level when we can’t even visualize the experience of our healed selves? If it feels unattainable, then it is. If it feels in our realm of reality, then it is. The power of the mind should not be forgotten in relation to illness & wellness. When something enters our field to make us sick, we are physically & mentally affected. With strong willpower, one can actually take such an active role in their own healing. Whether you are on the journey of addressing your anxiety, regulating your thyroid, relieving your arthritis, or anything of the sort - the mind plays an active role in your healing of ailments.
We use them to either further deepen disease, create new disease or alleviate disease. With each sensory choice, we lead ourselves to an experience. Are we chasing pleasure & avoiding pain in the immediate moment? Does avoiding pain in this moment cause more suffering down the road? Or am I making careful decisions guided by my soul’s intuition & desire to live my best life? These are things we need to think about when going about our day-to-day. If we aren’t taking personal responsibility for our choices then diving into infinite healing modalities will not make a difference. Offering a treatment plan to a lung cancer patient who refuses to stop smoking will not help them. They first have to choose to stop the actions from which the disease originated. It takes a lot of mental & emotional work to even commit to the path of healing & stopping these actions but it is so commemorable when you make the decision to do so. We are all working through various yet reflective scenarios. The more we can be open to talking about them, the better chance we have in coming to some healing conclusions. But alas, visualization will have such a healing impact on your journey.
